How to Import n8n Workflow JSON. After you buy or download an n8n listing, import the JSON in n8n as a new inactive workflow, then replace credentials.

Requirements

An n8n instance you control and a Flow Market entitlement to the JSON.

Steps

  • Download the file from My Library. Keep it on disk.
  • In n8n, use Import from file. Choose the JSON. The new workflow stays inactive.
  • Open every warning node and attach your own credentials.
  • Run the fixture path from the listing once before you enable it.

Troubleshooting

If import rejects the file, confirm it is JSON from n8n, not a Make blueprint. If nodes miss credentials, that is expected—never reuse the creator’s keys.
